On Aug. 8, Community High School District 155 held three committee meetings. The Operations meeting, chaired by Director of Operations Jeff Daurer, reviewed the 10 Year Health/Life Safety Surveys of the district’s buildings.
There are no urgent violations to address, which means we have done a good job of being in compliance and our buildings are safe.
The Budget, Planning, Finance and Audit Committee meeting, chaired by Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations Jeremy Davis, was on the tentative 2017-18 budget.
The budget, which is online, will be open for public discussion Tuesday.
Just go to www.d155.org and click on the Finance and Operations drop-down menu, and then it’s under Finance, then choose Annual Budgets and it’s the FY18 Tentative budget. The good news is we are running in the black for the fourth consecutive year.
The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Center for Education, 1 S. Virginia Road, Crystal Lake.
