Letters to the Editor

Letter: Congrats, Bob Miller

To the Editor:

It has been a long and drawn out legal matter between Mr.Gasser and Mr.Bob Miller.

I wonder why Mr.Gasser got so much front page recognition by the Northwest Herald, with no response stated from Mr.Miller?

Find this very disturbing that a person, which really does not warrant a front page photo, has been given so much publicity. This seems to me kind of discriminatory, and subject to review by the publishing board.

I congratulate Mr. Bob Miller for staying the gentleman he is, for taking this type of abuse from a man who thinks that he can spend the taxing body for his shenanigans by painting a public works vehicle in the color of his choice. Are there no standards by the McHenry Board to avoid this type of frivolous spending?

The photo (I believe staged) of Mr.Gasser paving a road, should have stated how long he joined his crew to complete the project? And does he pay his workers the same as he is being paid to pave a road?

Let us as taxpayers speak up, and stop Mr.Gasser being the clown of McHenry County.

We take pride in our county, and deserve a better man or system to run the Algonquin Township Highway Department.
