Letters to the Editor

Letter: Constitutional powers

To the Editor:

Except for the few members of Congress who are retiring, Congress appears to terrified of President Trump and refuses to criticize his blatant seizure of the powers given to the Congress by the framers of the Constitution.

The relinquishing of its constitutional powers by Congress has been going on for the past 75 years and soon Congress will only be a ceremonial body that will do little more than name buildings, post offices, and government buildings.

What has happened to the strict constructionists?
