The McHenry County College Board of Trustees has made its selections to fill the seats left vacant by the departure of Ron Parrish and Linda Liddell.
Dave Domek and Mary Beth Siddons took their oaths during a special meeting Monday, and they will be eligible to run for a full term when the seats are up for re-election in April, according to a news release from MCC.
“We are very enthusiastic about both Dave Domek and Mary Beth Siddons joining us as trustees,” board Chairman Mike Smith said. “We genuinely believe that the business and financial backgrounds that both Dave and Mary Beth bring to the board will make strong contributions to our governance and to the success of MCC as an institution.”
Domek founded Domek Logistics LLC in Crystal Lake, and Siddons has more than 25 years of experience as a leader in the manufacturing, tool and diagnostics industries, according to the release.
Siddons also is an MCC alumna and has been a part of its Education to Empowerment program.
