To the Editor:
I am writing this two days after the Nov. 6 election. As of today, I am no longer important to any politician as I have received no robocalls, seen no TV negative ads, and gotten no misleading mailers in my mailbox. I am now unimportant to them.
I would also like to thank the McHenry schools and Superintendent Ryan McTague for continuing to drain my wallet by getting a referendum passed. Your mailer failed to mention that the old bond was expiring and I could have saved $273 instead of $65.
All the mailer said was you will save money over our old bond but not saying the old bond was expiring. Of course, Mr. McTague, my taxes will go up anyway as the assessor will raise the value of my home and the state will raise the multiplier.
