To the Editor:
Solar farms everywhere. Why not put these farms in the middle of conservation property?
No one lives there and no one would ever build next to them. Then, at the end of 20 years, if they walk away you wouldn't have to put it back to Ag land because it isn't in Ag now. Besides the $1,200 per acre the solar people would pay the conservation district they could blow just like they do with taxpayers' money, maybe even save us a buck or two! Taxpayers own that land. We all want solar energy but let's put the farms in the right place.
