On Dec. 7, there will be children's activities from 3 to 5 p.m., 1st Friday Art Show from 5 to 7:30 p.m., tree lighting and special 8 to 9 p.m. holiday jam in the Listening Room ($5 suggested donation). BEN HALE'S HI-FI HOLIDAY, 8 p.m. Dec. 7, Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake. Ben Hale brings an unforgettable evening of Classic Holiday Americana to Raue Center. The night will celebrate the holidays by way of the early icons of rock and roll history such as Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, as well as timeless heartwarming classics. HAPPY HOLIDAY RAILWAY, 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 8-9, Illinois Railway Museum, 7000 Olson Road, Union. Embark on a magical 40-minute train ride through the winter countryside with Santa Claus himself. A family event with over 30 artisan vendors that have all-handmade items.
