Letter: Harmful levels

To the Editor:

According to the USA Today story "Fruit juices may have harmful lead levels (Feb. 1)," experts are concerned that fruit juices have high levels of cadmium, arsenic and lead. The byproducts of burning coal that foul our air and seep into our plants, soil and waters are ... cadmium, arsenic and lead.

Now you can't even buy a juice box without risking health defects and development impairment. When are we going to learn?

Coal kills.
