A Woodstock woman has created a fundraiser to help her family after a two-vehicle crash that occurred earlier this month on Bull Valley Road.
Jasmine Trinidad and her mother, Kelly Madera, were involved in a two-vehicle crash April 9 near Bull Valley.
The crash happened about 7:15 a.m. at Fleming and Bull Valley roads, officials have said. The crash totaled the van Madera was driving and Trinidad has started a GoFundMe page for her mother’s vehicle replacement costs and medical bills.
“If you know my mom, you would know that she is an extremely kind, sweet and generous woman who makes friends with everyone she meets,” Trinidad said on the page. “My mom has always struggled financially, being a single mom to me and my older sisters has been a struggle for her. This is one of the worst situations that could have happened to us right now.”
Madera was sent to the hospital after the crash. She has a fractured kneecap and multiple bruises and scratches. Trinidad suffered a concussion and also had bruises and scratches from the incident, she wrote on the fundraiser page.
The van was her only vehicle.
The fundraiser had raised $150 of its $1,000 goal as of Tuesday morning. It can be seen at: gofundme.com/82prt7-car-accident-relief-fund-for-mom.
