Letters to the Editor

Letter: Show you care

To the Editor:

Where were you?

You ask where was I during the Holocaust?

I was walking with the weary and laying down with the dead.

I carried them safely home just like I said.

You ask where was I as a 5-year-old died?

I was laying in the shallow grave with him.

He & I. Side by side.

Where was I you ask? Where was I?

I am the One who rescues those that love Me

and protects those that trust in My name.

I am the One who died for those who hate Me

And Who loves them just the same.

You can’t see the whole picture

You can only see through a narrow hole.

A very limited perspective

But I see into men’s souls.

There is so much more to each story

So much that needs to be shared.

Stop pointing fingers.

Get up and show that you care.

Where were you?
