To the Editor:
This is our city's mott - one to be held in high regard and to live by. Now it is seriously questioned by the disolvement of Senior Bus Service in McHenry Township and needs to be defended.
How three very disgruntled newly appointed men who carry a personal vendetta against the township can decide and dictate is alarming. Their attempt to abolish and chip away at all the good services provided to us taxpayers cannot be tolerated.
The Senior Bus Services must continue to operate and help all the needy it provides.
I believe the only reason Bob Anderson got on the board is to mock us and have his own way. This does not reflect the qualifications for a trustee. He is very self serving.
We need to stand up to him, either by petitions and/or demand their resignations. We want our township to return to its peaceful and helpful ways before the negative intrusion. Reverse this vote to restore the common good.
Let's remind them that they have the options to move away to a community that might share their views and let the good people of this township live with honor, dignity and peace. May God help us and bless us in this endeavor. Please keep the letters of protest and support coming.
Let us abolish these three bad apples.
