To the Editor:
I can no longer consider myself a liberal. I can not endorse their platform of preposterous initiatives that are driving deeper wedges into this country. Liberals are eagerly farming for new voters (noncitizens) and deliberately ignore the crises (like Social Security funding) of their homeland.
Trump is flawed, but appears able to defend himself against the liberal extremest that are campaigning for open borders and free everything for everyone that plays the system to get themselves into this country. It’s immoral, un-American, and not fair for politicians to make promises that they know are undeliverable. You can call it being hopeful, you can call it leadership, you can call it being humane, or you can be honest and call it what it is – a lie.
American law, order and honor are eroding.
Politicians have been inbred for so long that they thrive on the self-righteousness that makes them talk like they are approaching divine status. Their pompous attitude and sanctimonious preaching is a thinly disguised plot to vanquish our civil rights and personal freedom.
A true believer in a free democratic republic would put an end to the cycle of professional politicians and institute term limits. Elected officials are making decisions for the good of maintaining their cabal of cronyism and not for us – the deplorable outsiders. Most politicos talk down to us like we are not worthy to be free to choose and act of our own volition.
The myopic media has adopted a self-serving style of reporting through their own bias lens.
The media bias is causing more social disharmony in this country than any politician can or does. The overbearing influence of the various social-media hosts (like Google) on their subscribers goes on unchecked.
Social media can provide an unfair advantage to whomever they choose to favor and conversely they can hurt an opponent by shutting them out. This uneven plane of power and control is irreparably harmful and requires a government intervention.
Liberal blue or conservative red, keep an open mind.
