Paxil and Kitty were adopted from us originally as youngsters to the same family. When their guardian had to leave the country they brought them back to Helping Paws. They were adopted to separate homes soon after they came back. Paxil was returned after a few years because he needed dental surgery that his guardian could not afford.
Kitty also got adopted but was returned because her new guardian said she was too shy. When they came back they miraculously reconnected like they had never been apart. They are very bonded so it was decided they must be adopted together. Kitty is shy but she is friendly when Paxil is with her. You can usually find them sleeping together, grooming or kneading each other or just hanging out together. Paxil is friendly, enjoys his treats and knows how to figure out treat puzzles. Kitty enjoys getting attention from volunteers she knows.
This senior pair still have so much love and joy to give some special person. Come to Helping Paws to see this cute couple, located at 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock, Illinois (Off Route 14 at the Lake Shore Drive traffic light).
