Hold onto your lederhosen! Raue Center For The Arts is excited to announce the fourth annual Rauetoberfest!
Raue Center Board of Directors member, John Jacobsen says, “We love seeing folks dressed in costume and dancing to the oompah sound of Die Musikmesiters. So, plan on heading out to Rauetoberfest on September 9. Prost!”
Celebrate Oktoberfest, Raue Center style! Rauetoberfest will feature great live music, fun activities, traditional German food, and of course, beer! Guests should be sure to bring their appetite, as the festival will feature delicious traditional German fare courtesy of the Public House.
Festivalgoers will also enjoy traditional German music performed live by German Oompah band, Die Musikmeisters, from 4-10 p.m. There will be something for everyone to enjoy at Rauetoberfest, with a special kinderfest featuring kid-friendly activities and a root bier garten open from 2-6 p.m.
Rauetoberfest is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate tradition, arts and culture. This special event helps to define Raue Center’s mission of bringing the arts to the community by bringing traditional German food, music and activities into a festival setting that takes place in the heart of McHenry County.
Admission to Rauetoberfest is $5 at the gate. Admission for children ages 8 and under is FREE! Guests may also purchase an Express Pass in advance of the event for $20.
