To the Editor:
The shelves are more bare everyday. Basic supplies grossly depleted. Panic begets panic. And there is no need for it.
Before the Coronavirus scare, people would shop once a week and everything they needed was there.
Now, a greedy few have decided that they need 10 times the amount they would normally use. Does that make sense? Is that what our country has been reduced to?
Ten percent of the people are hoarding 90% of the supplies.
Imagine if that percentage was now confined home with Covid-19 because they couldn’t obtain basic disinfecting necessities.
How would your community function with 90% out of the workforce?
Remember, that number includes law enforcement and firefighters and delivery drivers and medical professionals ... all unable to go to work because a selfish 10% thought only of themselves.
Stop the panic. Take a deep breath. Act like Americans and unite.
