To the Editor:
Recently, I had a minor bicycle accident by tipping over in a rough patch. Two people driving by saw me and stopped to help. Unknown to myself, I was bleeding and a bit shaken.
Both spent considerable time making sure I was alright. One handily came up with bandages. The other had to call into her employer and explain why she would be delayed.
A neighbor witnessing this came over and eventually gave me a ride home with my bike in his van. I wish to thank them all.
I am encouraged by their example of kind behavior and they are a credit to the community. As a community, we have a lot of nice amenities, but people make it worthwhile.
